What is the use of Bulk SMS Service?

Our Bulk SMS Service will allow you to send message or SMS to unlimited phone numbers in any country.

What format of mobile numbers should be used when I create contact list or send any message?

Just type the mobile phone number witout + or 00 with the country code. For Tanzania country code is +255. You will write 255xxxxxxxxx. In case, if you wish to send a message to multiple mobile numbers, separate the number with a coma (,).

Are there any other costs involved to send SMS?

No. We operate on a prepay plan basis. There are no setup fees or any other additional fees.

Can I schedule SMS messages for later date and time?

Yes of course. Once you have created your SMS, you can select a time and date for to send your text message.

Do my SMS prepaid credits expire?

Yes, your prepaid credits can expire. Your SMS credits remain available in your SMS dashboard account for a certain period, depending with your SMS plan purchased.

What is the required minimum prepaid credits to start?

With only 21,000/= Tzs you can get prepaid bulk sms credits and start sending your SMS to your contacts. Please check our pricing page for all bulk SMS packages.

How long does it take to deliver messages?

10 seconds maximum. We offer 7 free SMS to test the service. However sometimes congestion in network may cause unavoidable delay.

How to use the ``sender id`` parameter?

You can submit for approval all SENDER IDS you plan to use in your account for yourself or your clients. Once approval you will have the option to choose one of them when sending your SMS message. Trademarks and already registered third party companies names are not allowed.

Do you support 2 Way SMS?

Yes, but per request. Is not enable by default and are dedicated for specific customers. Please contact our help desk for more information.

Do I need a mobile phone before send my SMS campaign?

No. you don’t need to use any phone number. You need to set up SENDER ID only in order to be able to send your SMS campaigns.

What are SMS credits?

SMS credits are the units you need to purchase to send SMS. Please check our pricing page for more information regarding our bulk SMS packages.

What does ``alphanumeric`` means?

It means you can use any characters in these ranges a-z, A-Z and 0-9.

How do I Upload Contacts File (CSV Format)?

• Open a new file in notepad or any text editor on your system.
• Enter the contact details in the following format :
First Name, Last Name, Mobile Number, Email Address
Sample Data:
Amit, Paul, 9839111111
Kiran, Sam, 9870000000,
• Save the file in your system with .csv extenstion. (e.g. mycontacts.csv)
• Click the browse button of Contacts File (CSV Format) field and select the file, which you have created, and then click the Upload button.

What is an SMS Template?

You can create message templates to save your typing time. You can add a template by using “Add Template” feature of the Web based Control Panel or Excel Plugin Software.

How do we add new sender id?

For adding new sender id you need to send us an email along with your user name we will add your required sender id.

Do you offer technical Support?

Yes, technical support is available through email and phone. We have technical staff available 24 Hours a day. You can raise a support ticket to notify a problem with our tech support team.

Can I send messages anonymously?

No, you should not send messages anonymously. Recipients should identify who is sending the message.

 

 

Why the messages are not delivering?

There can be various reasons for this.
• You might be sending the messages to a number listed in NDNC registry.
• The mobile is in a not reachable place with low or no network signal.
• There may be a handset problem. Put your mobile SIM card in another handset and try.

What is NDNC registry?

NDNC (National Do Not Call) Registry is a registry of mobile numbers which should be excluded from telemarketing calls.

 

 

What is developer API?

Developer API (Application Programming Interface) is a medium which provides the options to request and execute the SMS functionalities. Our HTTP based API extends our sms functionalities by allowing you to integrate the sms features with your Web and Desktop applications.

 

 

How secure is my data?

Your data (contacts phone numbers etc.) is completely safe. We do not share or pass on any of your data, including the mobile numbers you have uploaded.

How can I check if a message has been sent?

You will find in the REPORTS section of your dashboard all your messages which have been delivered or not. A status will be marked at the SMS such as pending or invalid number or any other error.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

You can retrieve your password by clicking on the Forget password option in the Login page. The passwords will be reset and you will receive the new password on your registered mobile number and email id.

Do I get notified when my credits are low?

Yes, you will automatically receive a sms / email alert when the sms credits are low.

How do I manage my contacts/phonebook?

You can manage your contacts by adding them one by one or by uploading your contacts File.
